What it is

Home Hunting is an iOS/macOS app designed to help groups of people search for an apartment together. You are able to work together to find places and keep track of where in the process you are. You get notified when people add new apartments, and you can work together to make the home hunting search easy!

The problem

As me and my wife decided to move in together, trying to find all of the different places we could live in Boston was overwhelming. We could not remember where we had found, whether we were touring/reached out to a place. I built this app as a way for us to be able to collaborate on this process and have a central place to keep track of our search.

My Accomplishments

• Added a group-based system with owners and joining
• Integrated notifications in Firebase to keep people informed of changes
